I just ended up grabbing a couple Takara Tomy 1/60 ones that have the 2017 redesign. Got two for less than $18 USD shipped.

Got a blue one for my nephew and a yellow one for me. I may try my hand at repainting the yellow one to match my dgm car.
I understand...I'm use to paying around $20-$25 for a 1/24 scale diecast car at Target or Wal-Mart. The larger more detailed models are too expensive.

It would be cool if some manufacturer would make a RC BRZ!

"This is a Ready to Run Expert Built R/C car of the Subaru BRZ. The product is a result of Tamiya’s expert builders assembling the kit from Tamiya’s factories. Each kit is hand built, painted and finished so the user may enjoy Radio Control action right out of the box. All you need is AA batteries for the controller and your choice of battery pack and charger (sold separately)."

That's cool, I didn't know that someone made a remote control BRZ!

Detail is surprisingly good for such small models. Although the backseat proportions are way off, they almost look usable!

For that small scale, the details & opening doors are cool. Takara is a good brand, I remember them making the Japanese first run of Transformers toys back in the 80's and other quality lines.

Id give it a 7/10...the autoart ones (older gen BRZ) are in diecast and are so much nicer!
