Yeah, that diecast BRZ is awesome, great details! But, at $150, is too expensive...

Just saw this 1/43 scale for $35...looks good, but yellow I guess is the only color.

Another vote for the Tomica Tomy* BRZ straight from (*the Hotwheels/Matchbox of) Japan (actually, Japanese Tomy model cars are now made in Viet Nam and not Japan).

Couldn't resist having this model. It was very inexpensive (~$5.00 US + small shipping cost from PlazaJapan.com) -- However something to keep in mind, as much as I like this diecast car I once worked on a project for a (nameless) toy company where I learned a bit how these chachkas are manufactured, and after I knew more about the working conditions where they were hand assembled & painted I became a bit less enthusiastic about purchasing these kind of toys. Hoping this scale model BRZ though was made in a happy (fair wage) place.

As far as I can tell, Kyosho Samurai series released a my17 brz but only in blue and yellow. Keep an eye on them and maybe they'll add the white? They're 1/18 but sealed diecast. Nothing opens

Getting the specific model year die cast BRZ is asking too much at this point. They all seem to be pre-2017 with the original front bumper design (which I prefer anyway). Most diecast BRZs are blue, other colors available from what I've found are red, yellow and white.

So, you can either wait a couple of years and hope they make the '17 or get a white diecast BRZ now with the '13-'16 model years.

Thanks, appreciate you trying to help out. Still a little spendy for me. USD means an additional ~35% premium for me.

I just ended up grabbing a couple Takara Tomy 1/60 ones that have the 2017 redesign. Got two for less than $18 USD shipped.

Got a blue one for my nephew and a yellow one for me. I may try my hand at repainting the yellow one to match my dgm car.

If you find DMG paint that’s meant for models please post info here. The stuff for full sized cars has too large of metal flake to look right.
