I have Wilwood 6pot (Bp30) front, Wildwood 4pot (B10) rear setup on my C5. I get some rumbling on my front braking but the rear is smooth. Im thinking of putting in BP10 pads upfront + I think my passenger side caliper is defective. Cars pulls left when braking and I get a squeal from that caliper even after proper bedding procedure and multiple bleeds and fresh grease.

What about a BBK do you believe provide more breaking force? AP and Stoptech front kits shift bias rearward, meaning they are providing less force then stock.

Tires also play an important role in stopping distance.
I can appreciate wanting better brake performance daily driving. I recently went from Project Mu HC800 hybrid pads on Hankook RS3 to Stoptech Sports on GT Radial SX2 and miss the immediate bite of my old setup. But they also ate my rotors every 30k miles and dust like a mofo. I may switch back after these wear out and just live with the more constant change since they are cheap enough (though the stoptechs are still a fair bit cheaper). I've also driven on Winmax W3 and liked those for daily as well. |

What slotted rotors do you have? The ones I have are like these, which could also be why I don't feel the rumble -

https://www.wilwood.com/Rotors/Rotor...o=160-13544-BK ![]() I think it might be the directional slots causing the issue.
