Anyone experience with the IRP shifter chime in?

Thinking about purchasing the IRP Short Shifter. Car is a daily but I like the Idea of the higher shift lever. Ive heard of people taking it off because it is more difficult to put into gear?

Talk me into or out of it.

Thanks

Oh, my, a "short shifter" that is taller -

Oh, the "throw" is shorter -

Wait one, the throw is shorter, but you have to reach up further to get ahold of the thing - hmmmm.

And the rattle fix, is jamming a piece of plastic inside the thing - looks like something Bubba would come up with.

$500. ?? - your call -

Probably not what he meant, but it implies this review is a shill review.

I have had one on my car for almost 2 years now. It is silent under 3000rpm so doesn’t bother me at all daily driving. And when I’m driving it hard I don’t really notice the rattling but it is there. It is not difficult at all to put in gear.

It is a lot of money for a short shifter but I’m happy with it.

In the first video he states that he bought it himself.
