$40 for hardware and $40 per year for software. Are they shitting us? After you spend that you're half way to the cost of a tactrix cable and being able to flash your own car, and logging whatever you want.

So I just tried this Carista app with my $20 elm327 and the unlock both doors with a single click is the only thing free. I did have to try and get it to connect a few times before the options came up. This worked on a 2017 Toyota 86 with no remote start.

Yep, they've locked down the app a lot with cost. TPMS is also now paid, in the beta it was definitely free way back when but they realized how useful it is to be able to swap rims with tpms and have them work in the winter and such
