Not sure if I did something wrong, but I loaded up the v4 tune into RomRaider, along with the correct definitions pertaining to my CAL ID (that came in the ZIP file) I see some weird numbers that don't really make sense in the axis for the Base Timing Idle (In-Gear) map. Any ideas what could be wrong?

You have a B01C based F40C definition in the list before the most recent A01G based one you added.

Thought I already edited the XML with the correct CAL ID, guess I didn't lol. Edited, reloaded, and all is good now. Thanks!

I didn't have any previous definitions in RomRaider, if that's what you mean. Removed everything, and just used what was in the V4 zip files. In any case, using the first post and changing the CAL ID worked like a charm. Thanks for the help!

you find the two maf corrrection after start in the mass airflow section
in v4 the first 2 rows are same as the other rows..from 8 to 4
you want maybe to start 15 and finish with 5 or 6

then maybe do a blend with stock values in idle tables to rise it a bit.. the higher the idle speed is, the louder it will be
When I try to use steves definitions i get "ecu definition not found" error. My cal ID is D00C MT. I have also cleared out the previous v4 def.

I've posted a D00C def somewhere in this (or the popcorn) topic.

edit:
Found it:
D00C XML

v4 tunes has max of 1200rpm that s not much to get it loud

but yes, it s basically only that, try put -15 or -19 (this one is on my17+ stock rom) and hear it

but v4 has maf correction after start a lot reduced on cold start, you should put higher values on the first 2 rows in those 2 maps, but v4 oft definitions have them not defined, you need better definitions to modify them
up to what temperature do I change the .04 to -15?

The cold start is much louder now thank you guys for the guidance. Only thing is the brief dip to 500 rpm before it shoots back up to 1400. Can't figure it out for the life of me

The dip is normal, It does It when the cold start phase is over and the timing pass from -15 in your case to normal idle timing of about +10..
Actually it does another One when the oil is at a good temperature and the vvt activates
So don t worry
