bingo, at higher speeds, small movements with my pinky could send me off into dukes of hazards mode, lol.

i'm going to look into better rubber as i'm going to be upgrading to coils and wheels here very soon.

OP, if you are on stock tire still try somthing like 225 or above pilot super sport.

Wider tire and softer rubber will take away the sensitiveness.

And guys come-on.... really?

Its a freaking van for crying out loud. If you are so hung up on the 0-60 times why did you buy a twin? You want to debate, on the internet, a less than a one second 0-60 time? You want to tell me I lose? really? I think you might need to take a little stock of your life and what the important things are.

Isn't there a forum somewhere where someone is discussing if Superman is tougher than Batman?
That s really the best way to put it. Van's, minivans, pick up trucks and many sedans a re designed to haul weight. In order to haul weight and still be able to accelerate they have gearing and are set up for lower end torque. Lower end torque means faster launch times. If all these people that claim minivans are "faster" are judging on a 100 yard stop light launch then ya the other vehicles may seem faster since they will get the jump on you every launch. How you drive the car after the launch determines your speed.

You know what's funny though, acceleration does not measure how fast a car is, that would be top speed :p.

Minivans are cool though.

I wonder how many people know that though. The way people talk on this forum sometimes, it's like they just come here to fill their daily quota of verbally expressed malignant tumor attitude, an epidemic on the internet.

Meh. No different on any other forums really. Head over to the scale modeling forum and post a picture of a 1/72 scale Mustang aircraft with 12 rivets on the cowling instead of the 8 there should be for that version and see what happens. Even better make some tank tracks look like they are rusty and see how many people come screaming that tank tracks should never be shown rusted even though thousands of pictures clearly show they are.

I need to build one of those sometime just to show what can be done to make it look real.

It's one of my obsessions from young. They just look so cool, but you have to be careful which ones you buy.

someone mentioned check the arms, the mechanic did check them and said all is fine, i had a focus st before this and it had sensitive steering and i became used to it, just feels like the brz is much more sensitive. i'm going to try a few things that were recommended and see how that works out. thanks for all the input!
It's definitely always worth ensuring mechanical reliability, but it sounds extremely similar to how I initially felt (and, in my case, it was me just not being used to the car.) The cars I was driving right before the BRZ were a Hyundai Veloster and an old minivan...so I moved to a dramatically more agile car and, not surprisingly, I found its controls quite sensitive. Some of this I also think is just because you feel more of the road in this car.

Also, sorry your thread got totally hijacked.
