The KW V3s are much closer in spring rates to the SACHS, Bilsteins, and R&Ts though. And yeah, I don't disagree about stiffness being a bandaid to travel/proper valving.

Ah I like that perspective.

I'd be a lot more interested in the Ohlins if they just flipped the springs F/R and I had good confidence in their adjustment range to get the springs I'm thinking of, that would have been the case if they were the same valving as the MI20 but with different valving and the rear so soft I'm not sure.

I'm on the 4th suspension setup on my car... But that's more because I'm indecisive and likely have undiagnosed car modification adhd.

Hey guys another question. How do you fully tighten the centre nut and at what torque?

Strap wrench on the shaft and normal socket on the nut, and not sure about the torque spec off the top of my head.

What spring rates are you thinking about? I'm curious as to how the car would feel.

If I had the BRZ tS, then I would definitely change the suspension. I cannot stand the wheel gap.

My coilovers are already mounted. Not sure if that will work

I am trying to tighten the top nut, but every time to hit the torque spec of 30 nm, it seems to turn back its weird.

Any idea why? IS it because Iam turning the shaft?

Turn back instantly, or works loose over time?

You should be able to get a strap wrench in even with the coilovers in the car, might need a helper to hold it (or use the torque wrench at the top).

I've got this set, worked great for me on the v3's (off the car).
