Why do you need the frs/brz ecu? If you’re using a canbus module it should be sending it’s own signals. Your frs ecu is doing nothing. I didn’t bother to remove mine though. As someone else mentioned, wire go ecu standalone and just wire up canbus module for tach and power steering, etc.

I think he is trying to attach the new engine harness to the body side of the factory engine harness plug and install the standalone ecu into the factory ecu plug via patch harness or the like. At least that is how it sounds to me.

I'm fairly confident the pin out is correct but I have nixed this idea and am going EMtron so that I can get everything 100% working properly the first go around.

Correct

The Motec takes care of all the CANBUS stuff but we still need to make a new engine loom to pin into the OEM connector in the engine bay
