You're also going to need lca's in the rear to adjust camber.

As for alignment, it totally depends on your driving style. I would try to have more front camber than rear though in most setups.

A good daily alignment would be -1 to -1.5 F/ -1 R.

Can wheel alignment do -1.5 front and -1 rear without using camber bolts and lca?

Commonly i see mentioned -1.5dg front, -1dg rear camber for daily driving, -2.5dg to -3.5dg front camber for track, -2dg to -2.5dg rear, even more camber front like -4dg or -5dg for drift setups. Zero toe front, slight +0.1dg toe in rear. (stock is zero camber front, -1.2dg rear, zero toe front, 0.2dg rear toe in. Best way to dial "ideal" camber is with tire pyrometer with comparing tire inside/outside temps.

There is no camber adjustment on our cars stock, only toe adjustment.
Stock front camber is 0, rear -1.2. Lowering car adds some negative camber to both.
So you can think what to expect, if you don't add adjustability to one of ends.

But -1.5 front can be got with just one set of camberbolts .. more expensive with rear, but: 1) -1 is not that far from -1.2 so you can leave it as is, if it's even enough to your taste on both sides, 2) cheapest LCAs like SPC/Whiteline/Eibach imho are cheap enough.

I did track day and autocross on GTF1, no complaint. They held up very well to abuse.

Are you going to fit the stock tires on yours? I've already done this and they fit well.

That's the plan for now. They've got less than 5,000km on them. Once I wear them out I'll probably put some Michelin PS4S on. The PSS on my Audi are fantastic.

Did you go for the 17x8 or 17x9? I got the 17x8.

17x8, the 17x9 would've been a stretch for stock tires. I have no idea what I want to upgrade to after though, something with decent tread life for sure, but not so loud when spiritedly driving.

Nope, definitely couldn't wait. It's a second car for us; worst case I have to drive it six minutes to work in non-ideal conditions, so no big deal if the weather isn't ideal.

is that... St Joes??

Really like the GTF1, if they came in anything but black I would be all over it. Very light weight.

What tires?

edit: just saw location. Watch out for those London potholes
