Personally I don't think this is a fair comparison. Being that one car is 26k and the other around 34k.
I will say though that the FRS looks alot better. And I'm pretty sure I'd have more fun with an FRS with 8k worth of mods then a stock 370z. Ignoring the whole warranty issue of modding of course. EDIT: Plus its a frikkin TOYOTA |

By the way, where is the confirmation that the chirp is from a "bad fuel pump?" Sensitive about the Z's eh? Did you have one? |

I'm driving an fr-s now and i felt sad and inferior when i see a 370z next to me.... That's it , i will trade you after a year and get back to a more exciting car.
I'm afraid i'll be seeing a lot of toyobaru just after a year of using it , i know it's not an exotic car but i dont want my car to be as generic as a honda civic or toyota corolla. I will even hate myself if i see locals here started painting the rims with gay colors and installing a spoiler as big as 747 lol. |

You make a good point about buying the less expensive car and modding. Some folks like keeping their cars stock, and others like to mod and make their vehicle unique to their own tastes. There's no right or wrong. It's whatever people enjoy. Looks are subjective. I think the Z looks better, but I'm biased. |

I dont like the new zs. Only zs that are worthy would be an old school era accurately modded z31 or the 240z. End

2013 370z's are getting a face lift.
I'm not a big fan. New wheels, new front bumper. Opinions may vary. http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...ml#post1814367 |

FR-S is affordable = high school kids and scion tc owner upgrade. I was reading an article on the upcoming "BRZ Sti" and Subaru has tried putting a turbo inside, but the engine space is too small and AWD is impossible. /Fail |

Anyone take a tally as to the epeen size of both respective groups of owners yet?
After reading the thread it appears alot of the Z owners (minus a select level headed few-my hat is off to you fine sirs) are getting rather defensive about their cars. I've been around both cars enough to know what each offers. A very good friend of mine has owned both a 350z and G35. I own a BRZ and have put plenty of miles on all 3. Oh, and for those who think I got promoted at Walmart or whatever; I could afford 2-3 370z's, comfortably. It's all about personal preference. To me, the BRZ offers a more satisfying driving experience. I also like the fact that it's drastically more rare than a Z. But that's me. If you paid 35k for your Z and you love it, great. I wouldn't, but then again, I didn't. Paying 35k to own a Z doesn't make you look like a moron. Paper talking about a car you know nothing about and trying to distinguish yourself as more successful in life because you have a Z, does. |

I paid 30k to own my Z. I'm not certain that it's any more common than the BRZ will be in a year or so. Time will tell. |

Yea, I meant that for both sites. So I guess the question is.... which group of fanbois has the bigger epeen? .
The Z has gotten incrementally more expensive (and uglier, IMO) over the years. I loved the way the early Z's look, then they started the weird angles on the headlight and tail lights that just got me scratching my head. But again, that's me. |

As for Z's, I love the 240Z, some 260Z's, but after that I'm not a big fan until the Z32 (later 300zx). I think they look fantastic. I think 350z's look ok, but when I first spotted a 370z on lots in 2008, they addressed most of the issues I had with the 350z, made it slightly lighter and slightly more powerful, and I just fell in love with the design. I realize that it is polarizing and that aesthetic opinions are subjective, but that's mine. |
