You guys should call Subaru of America regarding the mirror. Since it’s a feature that adds to the ownership of a Limited Edition car, there shouldn’t be a problem if you really want it.

The Package that adds the auto-dimming mirror is a package that’s added to all BRZ’s. I think if you call SOA and explain to them that it’s a special feature that shouldn’t be replaced, that should help.

Also once you get your VIN, ask the dealer if they can upgrade the Car to a Sold Order that way the Auto-Dimming mirror and other accessories can be removed.

My dealer refuses to let me change anything on my reserved car, and every other dealer in SoCal who is taking deposits is saying the same thing.

Same here! Subaru emailed me the full 17-digit VIN, and confirmed an ETA at the end of February.

I'm guessing there's going to be no wiggle room on the price? Everyone's paying msrp? Does anyone know if all of the cars are spoken for already?

Much faster than expected! Do you think the rest of the vehicles that will be delivered to the Bay Area would arrive in a similar time frame?

AFAIK everybody is paying MSRP at this point. I was trying to reserve mine approx. 2 weeks ago and there were still plenty left.

Yeah Subaru unloads these cars pretty quick. All 500, give or take 10...or so will be delivered to retailers in the same month/30-day period.
