You guys should call Subaru of America regarding the mirror. Since it’s a feature that adds to the ownership of a Limited Edition car, there shouldn’t be a problem if you really want it.
The Package that adds the auto-dimming mirror is a package that’s added to all BRZ’s. I think if you call SOA and explain to them that it’s a special feature that shouldn’t be replaced, that should help. Also once you get your VIN, ask the dealer if they can upgrade the Car to a Sold Order that way the Auto-Dimming mirror and other accessories can be removed.

I'm guessing there's going to be no wiggle room on the price? Everyone's paying msrp? Does anyone know if all of the cars are spoken for already?

AFAIK everybody is paying MSRP at this point. I was trying to reserve mine approx. 2 weeks ago and there were still plenty left.

Yeah Subaru unloads these cars pretty quick. All 500, give or take 10...or so will be delivered to retailers in the same month/30-day period.
