One of my friends bought a mazda from a dealer and it had warranty and was supplied with a roadworthy inspection certificate.
It had an engine failure and the dealer was refusing to replace the engine.
However my friend noticed that they had ticked the tow bar inspected okay section and it didn't ever have a tow bar.
So he asked if the tow bar that fell off is under warranty.
They then replaced the engine.
If they have made a small technical/typo error you can easily get a warranty claim!

Start collecting paperwork now. Every receipt and every bit of documentation especially on this engine that just failed. Get documentation any way you can of the visits you made DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD. If you have no documentation, a sleazy dealership will try and say you never went to see them and the first time you went in was after the warranty expired.

True I never liked my Mazda dealerships. I went in one and wanted to test drive the new rx8 they would not let me test drive it. So they said how about this Mazda 3 I laffed and left. Straight down to the Subaru dealership drive out in the first black 05 wrx in the state and one hell of a deal. I wanted to go do doughnuts in the Mazda dealership lot but I was better than that.

A local tv channel will help you escalate it if you are having problems with upper level corprate. Stick to just the facts and not opinions like others have said be calm and show your paperwork.
Again, it is in Europe. TV channels and newspapers could not care less about one person's fight with a dealer. There is a huge culture gap that Americans just can't seem to understand. What works in the USA does not work everywhere and is just pissing into the wind.

True not always but usally tv can help. Even up with you in CA there was a chain of express car places that were ripping people off tv helped. Granted the differences between CA and USA are different and Europe is even more different. That is why I said escalate it to corprate. It shouldent matter what country you are in company are international they should have same quality standers.
