I don't know how old you are but the bad ol' days weren't that long ago. I have lived through the dramatic improvement in air quality since tougher emissions standards have driven the changes. I'm not judging but let's not fool ourselves. The benefits are real. If and when I do play with a header & tune, in keeping with the spirit of the exercise, I plan on moving the secondary O2 sensor behind the stock cat so I'll know if it quits working. That's science.

Of course you would notice it if you're behind a car without a cat, I assumed you were talking about being the one driving it and if you notice it then. Oops.

Haha geez I’m going through so much “should I, should I not” in my head. But yeah I’ll take good ol Steve’s word for it then. It’s cool to see people actually reply to me on these forums, no one did on the Lexus forums hahaha. Thanks a lot again guys! Sounds like OFT is the mandatory first upgrade then 👍🏽

I didn't quote the whole thing. It was in context of tuning. I just snipped out that part about doing bolt ons and not tuning. The article is in 2 parts- no tuning with intake only and tuning with Ecutec +intake.
