Fact vs Fiction: Catless front pipe (no tune)

Can somebody please tell me when is truth and what isn't when it comes to going catless front pipe, NA, tuneless?

General weight difference in piping
WHP loss or gain
MPG loss or gain
Smell
Drone
Rasp
Noise increase
Dyno graphs

Everything covered, for use by others as well, please

Your secondary cat isn't monitored. Less weight, slightly more tone, but barely noticeable. Little to no gain on dyno graphs, but slight increase in throttle response. The benefit is less restriction and lower weight which will actually help with future mods when you tune.

I agree with all of this, except for the first part, only because it depends on what you consider "a lot," which will vary person to person. You can save up to 10 pounds with a front pipe by switching to Amuse, for about $1,000. Or 9.1 pounds by switching to Tomei for about $350.

Lightest Exhaust, Headers, and Front/Over/Mid Pipes?

switching front pipes does make a difference, the difference between a catted and an un catted one is minimal.

I have catted P&L EL header(GREAT company to deal with) Perrin overpipe, catted Perrin front pipe, stock midpipe, Nameless axle back with 5" mufflers. Maybe I'm just getting too old but I think it's too loud... And it does drone, a lot. From my research, this is suppose to be one of the quietest combination, but it is loud, boarder line obnoxious. I don't regret it due to the power gain, but I do wish it was quieter.
