In no world is it more fun to go slow rather than fast when it comes to cars.

Seems like a bait.

I encounter way less shitty driving experiences in the truck than in the FRS. People let me merge, I don't tend to get cut off, I don't get people trying to race me. It's so nice.

You should get it. They handle better, stop better, parts are ridiculously cheap for them and if you think the twins' aftermarket is huge.... you have no idea how much stuff is out there for corvettes.

This world for sure. You can max out an 86 and want more. I never truly maxed out my z06. Having extra on tap is always better than wanting more. Also, cruising at 80 spinning 1200 rpm is a glorious thing.

I never said going slow was fun at all.....

But you did? Unless you don't understand the meaning of driving a slow car fast is more fun than driving a fast car slow.

Imagine the douchebaggery that giant wing on the BRZ will bring out of people because racecar, along with the sexually transmitted infection badges. The joy of driving a slow car slowly will be enhanced when you look in the mirror and see that stupid wing.

The difference between a sub $30k car and a $65-70k car.

Add to the fact that anytime I wanted to have fun in it I had to be going way above the legal speed limit.

The absolute nail in the coffin was when I attended a Corvette Track school given at a discount to Corvette owners.

It was 3 days out in Las Vegas and we got to drive a model exactly what we purchased.

Full track school teaching everything you needed to know.

By the 2nd day I was driving the Vette like I do my motorcycles on track.
Soooooooo much fun.
Then come home and putt around in traffic??? No way, not worth it. And I dont have the time and money to track a Corvette.

Nothing crazy but tires wear out quickly (like 15000 miles) and a new set of them was almost $2k.

Oil changes were ~$100.

I had to have the dry sump oil reservoir changed out (thankfully it was under warranty).

I have OCD and the stresses of taking it anywhere, getting rock chips, and door dings really annoyed me.

The monthly payment was about double of the FRS too.

Yeah that functional aero wing... on a RWD car that could use the extra downforce and grip... so stupid... Just go buy an Impreza dude.

You answered correctly! I'm a fan!

I don't trust anyone that plays with a double (for a man).
