*Anyone tried 215/50 tires on oe wheels? Any rubbing?
I tried searching but didn't have much luck, so I am hoping to get some help from some members about the entitled topic.
Just curious if anyone has tried fitting 215/50 series tires on their stock 17 inch wheels (with stock suspension), and if so, is there any rubbing? I would assume that going from a 45 series to a 50 series should fit within the fender well without much issue, but I would love to hear real-world feedback about sidewall flex, steering response, rubbing issues, and everything else of consequence. Thank you in advance for your time. Last edited by Lonewolf; 11-22-2017 at 01:59 PM. |

215/50's are my winter set up absolutely no rubbing, my summer setup is a 245/40 so the winter set-up is a much nicer ride. but a cant really speak to steering response because I don't (can't) push the car... snow n all...

Have you taken the steering wheel lock to lock (full turn to each side) with your winter setup?
