Waste of money unless you are tuned to use it.
Do they sell liter-a-cola in Canada?

Buuuut, I "installed" 94 octane and my 2017 '86 feels so smooth...I hope I don't get addicted to $5+ / gal gas

Would anything bad happen at 101 octane?

(this gas station in Sunol, CA - SF Bay Area)

Considering that higher octane content makes gasoline less explosive and LESS likely to ignite, no I don't think you'd have problems blowing up

BTW premium 93 octane over here is $3.08/gal at the local Shell, and $2.83 at Sam's Club. LMAO at $4.99

Ha...yep...looking at that octane map I posted a few posts ago, I am lucky to find any 93 anywhere in the western states....then once back East, tons of places.

I would love to only pay $4.99 for 93. Paying $3.08 isn't even something to dream about here since the cheapest regular is around $3.50.

There's usually one or two gas stations per county in California that stock ~100 octane, dunno why or how but it's been that way my whole life. Even in the big cities, easier to find out in the Central valley, a few counties ignore California emissions laws entirely and don't require any inspections or nothin.

Racetracks also stock 100 octane (I've used Laguna Seca and Thunderhills pumps myself) but expensive as fuck, iirc Laguna charges like $8-$10/gallon for the 100 octane, and that was years ago, not the current spike we have now.

Like others have said, not much point in going over 93 on this car unless you're tuned and/or boosted, a few extra points for knock protection is nice if you're hitting the track but I wouldn't waste too much money on it.

This is funny. Supreme, Extra Supreme, and Ultra Supreme? I like how the 98 octane is just an upside down 86 sticker. :p

So, uh, left coast best coast?
