maybe you could get these in red
![]() ![]() In all seriousness though, the problem with tacky stick-on bits is that they look like tacky stick-on bits. If it you think it looks good, more power to you, but don't get upset if literally everyone else thinks its awful. If you open yourself up for feedback, it won't always be good.

What he said. I know...harsh landing for your fist post,¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... but seriously...hang around, the place is useful to help learn about what you just bought. Some of the posters on this board know these cars inside out. If you do have any issues or foresee any mods of your own, this place is worth consulting with. Had mine for five years so far and not had the urge to change a single thing. Same color as yours only with ten more layers of dirt and grime. I bought it exclusively for the way the chassis handles day-to-day driving. My constructive feedback: If you must have red accents, a can of red brake caliper paint applied to the factory calipers will improve your street-cred. |

Did you put the CAI on yourself? I ask because I'm curious on your take of the before vs. after. I've heard from many people on here that it actually negatively impacted the performance of their car if they ran the CAI without a tune. Have you experienced this? If it was on the car before you picked it up, you may want to try the stock intake with a drop in filter and see how that treats you. You may end up liking it more?
ALSO: Congrats on the car Glad you love it

While a very attractive idea, the 5-0 will extract tribute for that in these parts.

Regardless of the cosmetic stuff, yes it's a great car. I've owned everything from 914 to 911 Turbos and I'm having such a great experience with the 86 for many reasons. Enjoy your car and remember it's yours and if you like the red stuff then keep it. You're the one that will look back at it in a parking lot and want to like what you see...

Well I for one, like red and black accents. Too much symmetry though. Betcha it would look real nice if ya painted half the wing and one a the eyelids all white like.
