Longer OFT Cable

Sorry if this has been answered before, if so delete this.

I didn't find anything in the search but i was wondering if anyone had a solution for the short cable that the oft comes with, also possibly a 90 degree obd connection as the plug is large and in a horrible spot on the 86.

I believe you can find them on eBay, some of them even have an inline switch so you can leave the OFT connected at all times and just use the switch as an on/off toggle.

There's lots on Amazon.
Right angle, flat cable, inline toggle switch... Just search Amazon.

gotcha, I don't know why an obd extension cable hadn't crossed my mind, for some reason I was thinking I would need a cable with the same pins as the oft. thanks!

Just extend it at the odb2 port end, not the oft end. Also a right angle extension should help move the cable out of the way of your legs if you're going to use it while driving.

this is the one I ended up going with, seems like it should work.
