JDL catted header w/Perrin 3” intake

Hello I’m looking for some input and advice. I currently am running the Perrin 3” CAI W/edited MAF scaling(that I did my self OFT) and a N1 cat-back. I’m going to be installing a JDL catted UEL header. I know some ppl here have run the OFT STAGE 2 tune (UEL that is for cattless) w the catted header. Has anyone run it w the corrected MAF scaling for 3” Perrin CAI? I have added a picture showing 1st the cattless OFT TUNE for JDL header. 2nd is a the base stg 1 tune. 3rd is the PERRIN 3” scaling that I added. 4th is the stg 2 UEL base map OFT. If any one sees any major issues I appreciate the input! Thanks for your input and wisdom in advance!!!

I would recommend you switch back to stock intake before you brick your ecu. If you can't tell why from that photo then my point is proven.

Would you care to elaborate?

The top MAF scale looks corrupt. Wrong calid? Be careful not to brick you ECU by flashing a wrong calid.

Thanks it looked strange to me. That is the tune that was sent to me from OPEN FLASH for the JDL header. Thanks for the heads up!

I don't use OFT so take what I say with a grain of salt. Probably your definition file doesn't match up. The OFT tunes are really (I think, don't use US tunes either) B00C tunes calid hacked to look like a 700C, in your case.

The 3 tunes below, are they just stock tunes with modified MAF scale?

If so, that's your problem. The definition file needs to match the tune. If you used a stock 700C before you probably also used a real 700C definition file (where did you get it?).

For the OFT tune you need to use their provided definition file. If you want to copy between the tunes it's probably going to be tricky, since I think RomRaider will open either the one tune or the other with the wrong definition file. So the best thing is probably to first open one of them (with the matching definition). Then go to the definitions manager, remove the definition entirely, and then load up the other definition and then the other tune.

As Wayno said, this is playing with fire if you are not entirely sure what you are doing.

They are all open flash tunes except the one labeled “3” Perrin” that is my modified MAF scale per Perrin. The one that looks off is the one that was sent to me from OPEN FLASH for my car for the JDL header. I’m only comfortable with modifying something like a single line like the Perrin MAF scale that’s it. Thanks for the info again! Really it’s much appreciated.

Yeah the problem is with the original 700C tune oe your stock 700C rom its a real 700C and the other 3 oft tunes although labeled 700C are actually likey B01C roms calid hacked to look like 700C so oft will load them and it updates you to a B01C factory tune.

You have opened your stock 700C with the oft 700C def but the oft 700C def is rearly a B01C def in disguise

Have a read of the Romraider tips link below in signiture.

If you ever see weird values in tables stop it means wrong def or error in def and its possible to either brick ecu or get rearly weird issues if you edit amd flash.
