I ordered the gauge hood that matched the one piece dash. I received it today. it is the exact same material and thread. the one I received had the edges not properly glued. I worked on it some using contact cement. the only thing I am still not satisfied with is the lower edge facing the driver has a few places that are not completely even. I will need to look at it in the light this weekend and see if it is noticeable and if I need to remove it an work on it some more.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the one piece dash, but I hated the stock radio. Just ordered the Kenwood DDX917WS from AU and the one piece dash. Better headunit here I come.

I'm replacing mine this month. Should have them off the car by the end of July. Just waiting on my new head unit.

To note: your head unit will have to be trapezoidal to fit the stock 2017 dash.

There are two options for each, I'm assuming one is red, one is yellow? You will probably need to either google the pn's to try and deduce the difference, or call a dealer and ask them.

Also bought one of these 2017 BRZ hoods a while back and it was the same bad glue job. Used Gorilla Glue Super Glue in very small dabs to fix it. Took care of it easy. Nice to have the instrument cluster hood matching the 1 piece dash. Also bought the knee pads and door panels. They all came in the same leather like material in that kind of lighter black color. All in all a worthwhile upgrade for a 2013 FR-S.

My dash was properly glued. I have assume they don't leave the factory that way but come unglued afterwards. they need better glue.

Just got the one piece and mine too had a shitty glue job. Guessing it coudlnt handle the heat from shipping or something, no way it was boxed that way with how nice it was packaged.

My 2017 with the two piece dash, the part that has the "leather" on it, also has a crappy glue job on the right side of it. There's a nice bubble where they didn't put enough glue. I've been too lazy to fix it.

Thank you appreciate it, but how do I know which is red and which is yellow stitching?
