Well, you sure got me confused ......

Maybe this story will clarify the situation.

Now, mind you, this was waaaay-back-in-the-day.

It was a warm, spring afternoon back in Bridgeport, CT. I had taken an earlier flight into NYC from SF, which gave me several "free" hours.

So, this secretary that worked in the same corporate HQ as I did, had invited me over to her apartment for a few drinks.

We had gotten quite comfortable and I was unwinding from a long business trip ....... when her apartment door tried to open ...... but the safety chain stopped it.

Being naked, I grabbed my suit and was crouched behind this large wing chair. She went to the door and told her rather LARGE boyfriend to get lost. He said that he knew someone was in there with her and that "he would just wait outside to beat the hell out of him"......

Now, talk about a buzz kill ....... So, I did my best to sober up and after a couple hours decided to make a run for it. I flew out of the apt, down the steps and out to my MGB-GT, fired that mother up and roared off.

THE END

You can't rightly claim to be a gearhead and not have an OBD dongle and some sort of software for tweaking things. Turning off the stupid DRL's was worth the 20 bucks right there.

Not every gearhead is an OBDII gearhead. A lot of people even still have Carburetors.

I don't have a software tweaking thing ....... but, I do have a screwdriver, a 9/16" wrench, a feeler gauge, a vacuum gauge and a timing light ....... can I still be a gearhead ......

Oh for Christ's sake! The key on the FRS is mechanical only. All the bloody dongles in the world are not going to make both doors open when you unlock it.
You want to unlock both doors? Push the unlock button on your key twice. You have the fucking thing in your hand to unlock the door anyway so why the hell even put it in the hole?

Mine unlocks both doors with a single press, and I don't recall if that is stock or I Carista'd that. All I know is that you bastards who have to press the button twice are contributing to global warming.

Ps. I've heard somewhere that it might be possible to be done with techstream at a dealership.

Unless it is crappy wording (possible) it would appear he is physically using the key in the lock.
Even if he means using the button on the key if pushing it twice within 3 seconds is too much of a struggle then a 20 second glance at the owner manual answers the question.

Yo taco. Take a chill pill. Yes you're right I meant the clicker not the key I guess it's my fault for wording my sentence poorly however, the title did say click which implies the key being pressed.

I always end up spam clicking the key causing the car to beep over and over making everyone look at me like I'm an idiot. It's not killing me to click twice but if it's adjustable, why not.

Thanks for that page though. I'll ask my dealer to adjust my key for me

If you don't have the fine motor control to click a button only twice in 3 seconds you probably should not be driving.
