I believe track guy who are more serious, they tend to run 20-30 minutes with an oil cooler.

and I also run a thicker oil in summer to helps with that as well.

Also, I would like to get a vented hood but that's out of my budget, it helps with the temp under the hood quite a bit.
Thanks for the reply, I'm planning on participating in open lapping at Cayuga starting next year and I'm more of a preventative maintenance kind of guy so I was on the fence about an oil cooler. Good to know I can invest my money elsewhere for now.

Np!

the way I see it is, My car see public road 90% of the time, probably 4-5 track day a year just for fun, and lets not involved autocross because autocross is a really short run to over heat the engine,

it doesn't make sense to install an oil-cooler on a daily driver, that i shift barely above 4k on my daily commute. and in some case it over-cool the engine which doesnt let it operate at the optimal temp it was design to.

Just be safe and keep an eye on your car at the track, be prepared. switch to a thicker oil. take proper cool down lap, dont stay on track too long. change your oil before every track day, get a vented hood.

T3 Brake Ducts Installed.
I cant really find any DIY instruction on the forum, However it turned out to be very straight forward and a simple install. Drill holes and use zip it. I trim the end a bit to avoid any contact at full lock steering. it held on very tight with zipties
I Dont know if it actually work, but for $40 CAD, I can tell people that I have Porsche part on my car

Same here. Such a pain sometimes. My last two helmets - that are both out of date now - are perfectly fine but I can't use them except for personal use when no one is watching!
I know they change the standards some, but too bad there is no simple test to show a helmets is still adequate. I would be OK with replacing interior padding, etc, but the shell is fine.

Buying a helmet is exacerbated for me since my head is bigger than most people's helmets. A 4XL fits fine - but try to find one!! Right now I am squeezing into a 3XL because that was all I could find at the time - that was south of $1K.
Oh well. It will probably be the last one I buy! (age, not death wish!)
