Nope, no xml editing needed
Click on a cell that holds the rpm values in the very top row of the table, and type in what you want it to be instead, hit enter (or in some cases manually click "set") and it will change the value. Thats what i mean by rescaling the axis So stock has 550rpm to 750rpm all being the same value, I simply put 750 where 550 was in the first column, then since 800 & 1300 are the same, I put 1300rpm beside that, and just shifted the rest of the table over in the same way, Getting rid of duplicate values gave me 4 columns to play with, so after moving everything over and having the 1800rpm column where 1300rpm used to be, I just filled in the rest of the table with what I wanted to see |

I am going to be playing with values at different rpm to get more aggressive pops the harder I'm driving. Also I'm attempting to get the gun shot loud ones on downshift only in an attempt to avoid too much police attention.

Aha if you figure out anything thats not already in here be sure to share it 👍
My biggest thing was wanting to reduce the delay in gun shots when downshifting, and I have some ideas but I havent been playing around with it much lately, |

Video (check around 3:10 for the best popcorn): https://goo.gl/photos/Uhyg8jNZxd1uFKCL7 However I'm after no pops, just burbles, did you find that sweet spot? After shooting this video I limited the Base Timing Idle to 50% (-2.42), but not that much has changed. I'll see what it will do with halving it again.

I think low positives work best for burbles, i used to ramp the negative values in more conservatively and still have +10 around 2500, +5 around 3500 and then start getting further toward negative.
Also playing with the enrichment at the same time could help, seems that less fuel ignites more aggresively, and more fuel can help keep it to a burble along with extending thr burble duration |

Thanks for the reply, never thought about going in the positives, I'll do as you suggested. I'll keep you posted on the findings

Small update on this. First I've tried like @eddieflyinv suggested, mostly to find the sweet spot:
+10 @ 2500 +5 @ 3500 +2.5 @ 4500 0 @ 5500 This produces some nice burbles, but also still some harder pops if you really want to. Sweet spot seemed to be around 3-3.5k rpm, so around +6 I assumed, so: Then I tried +6 constant, which was to loud in the low revs Also tried +10 constant, which was very nice in the low revs, but didnt produce any sounds above 5k rpm, so it seems the sound differs with RPM also, even if keeping the timing constant. For now I'll settle with the +10 +5 +2.5 0 settings posted above, might try something like +10 +5 +5 +5 or so in the future, but don't think it will make that much of a difference.

can confirm positive digits produce nice burbles too. for me -15 doesnt produce anything, -10 gives crazy pops, im using +8 for 800-2500, +3 2500-4000 and -8 4000-7400. i guess its different for every exhaust setup though.

Just read through the full post, but having some trouble understanding how RomRaider works as I just got my OFT last week, and just installed RR over the weekend. I just flashed to Stage 2 E85 last week, but I want loud pops and flames here and there, what do you guys recommend for the best results? Barely learning here, so no bashing please haha

Someone pm'd me about not getting much pops with e85 before using these settings,
Not sure what the deal ended up being but my guess would be to use more initial enrichment when using e85 with the same ignition retard |

With the method you will get very loud gunshot pops and I'm assuming flames if you're catless. Quote:

So, if I’m reading this properly, all I have to do is type in the same numbers as shown in the posted picture?
