lol
They could even have a convertible or even a hatch if they want to throw enough money at it. There are places all over that would do the custom work. If people can throw $20K at it to do an engine swap or a RB stanced to hell show car then a measly $10K to have it a convertible shouldn't be out of the question.

You never gave one so the answer would be no.

I really don't get it TBH. I love this car! IMO they delivered exactly what they said they wanted to build.

What exactly is lack of power and how much do you complainers here at the thread want??

You can still easily hit 100 MPH on this sucker.

I agree ...... and a 100 mph can be easily reached in 4th gear...... where is about the limit of where my eyeballs and brain can keep up with where I'm going.

For those of you with a higher capacity brain, you have about one and a half more gears ......

I'm not complaining.

The number one complaint is the lack of power. You've been here long enough to see that.

And Edelbrock has a solution at a speed shop near you. A Supercharger just ruins this car and then its driver so be careful what you wish for.

If there will be a 2nd gen 86 ... I'm not sure they will bump the power up much. Whatever small amount they bump it up to will probably still not satisfy those with the power craving.

A 2nd gen roadster (ala Miata) would be interesting. Steal some sales from Mazda. A properly done Roadster would also shed some weight. Shedding some weight is the same as adding more power. Seems like the obvious choice for a 2nd gen.

It's not so much hitting a magic number for HP or Torque.

What would be nice though is a nice linear powerband. I used to have a 99 GSR and I preferred its powerband to the FRS even though it was slower.

[Edit: I realize this can be fixed with a header and tune, but I live in Commiefornia]

Still has the torque dip a bit smoother though I admit.
