You know how socks sometimes disappear when you put them in the dryer? Same thing happens with tickets and glove boxes.

Dryers and Glove Boxes are inter dimensional portals. You put a sock in the dyer and it ends up in someone elses dryer.

I mean, I don't know much about portals, but it's just something I read in one of those leaked Clinton emails. *shrug*

Don't let them hassle you about your Saturn. I had an L-series/Opel/Vauxhall that was a great car. Bored me to death, but a great car still.

That report didn't happen to mention the name Rick Sanchez or anything about the GLaDOS project did it?

If the previous owner or someone out there has your valet key, I highly recommend bringing your car with both your keys to your local Toyota dealership. Have them reprogram the keys. The valet key will still be able to get into your car, however, they won't be able to start it. A more expensive option would be to get new keys, and recode your ignition and door.

That is extreme and very expensive. If anybody is planning tp steal a car they got rid of they could just have a spare key made before they trade it in or sell it. Should everybody change the locks on every used car they buy? Somebody having a valet key in a city of 4 million people is hardly a concern.

I agree it is extreme. I work at a Toyota dealership, and generally don't advise recoding the locks, unless you really feel it is neccessary. You're better off buying a lottery ticket if someone manages to come and steal the car with the key.

However, for a peace of mind, having the keys reprogamed wouldn't be a bad idea. The valet key, like I mentioned earlier, could only open the door, wont start the car. Repgoramming the existing keys would be a simple peace of mind. Not sure what the dealer charges over there, but it's usually about .5 labour for reprograming.

Wow thank you sir! If it's .5 really for labour, I'm going in next week!.. hey random question, can techstream change the key fob so when unlock is pressed, both doors open at the same time? Not something serious but it would be nice to have :p

How could the valet have done it, if he didn't have a valet key to give to the valet in the first place ......?? Do you think that the valet took his regular key out and had it duplicated while he was in a valet-ted place and then waited till he returned the next time to open up his car and slip the ticket in the glove box......with the valet key ...... when the valet already had access to a regular key ........... ???????????
