That looks pretty good, but I think you can go off the default Stage 2 UEL Idle Speed Targets and set the values higher than your tolerance rpm (in my case, 1200rpm) to your tolerance rpm value.
However, I don't remember all my Idle Speed Targets being as consistent as what you have in your tables. Mine looked like this. |

Set the MAF correction after start so that all rows are the same as 3 and below. Just the idle targets doesn't quite fix it.

I read the whole thread. Ugh!! I used the defs from Wayno thread http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83945 to change Idle maf scaling. When I opened my tune file it looked normal, but the temps were in C instead of F. Not sure if this will make a difference. The file def was the same BOOD. I was able to make the changes to the Idle MAF and save the file. I then opened in my 'standard' OFT def file BOOD and it did a fix. Is it safe to install this file?
My Cal ID ZA1JB00D This is the def I used: OFT ZA1JBOOD XML Read me: ALL ROMS IN THIS RELEASE ARE BASED ON B01C/BO1D, THUS ALL DEFINITIONS ARE ALSO B01C/B01D. DO NOT EDIT ANY ROMS NOT BASED ON B01C/B01D WITH THESE DEFINITIONS. Not going to load this until someone can confirm it is ok. Thanks. Last edited by jerseymike1966; 05-02-2017 at 08:08 PM. |

Yes oft guys change the base rom for their tunes often bhut if the tables looked fine you should be good. Its usually very obvious if defs dont match base tune the tsbles have wierd vales and aften axis of tables all weird as well. Its ok that temps are in c not f, the roms are actually all metric but the deginitions scale the values to c or f depending on what def you use, just make sure if your changing stuff you use the corrdct unit ie c or f to match definition. If you read my Romraider Tips link in my signiture you will be fine |

Thanks. I'm gonna load it up tomorrow and hopefully it will be quiet. I have done most of the changes on your tune tweaks thread. Good stuff. Running better and smoother.

The definitions don't change versions.

Thank you everyone for your contributions. First time tinkering with tunes but I've read through the thread 3-4 times and believe that the general consensus is similar to the values below. I'll be flashing this tonight but was wondering if anyone had tweaks for certain modifications. I have a Tomei catless EL header, Invidia catless front pipe and Perrin catback. Any input would be appreciated!

YEAY!! It worked. Cold start at 1200 rpms and so quiet. I think I get it now. My Cal ID is BOOD and my tune/map/rom file is BOOD but based on a BO1D ROM, so the defs from Wayno that work for BO1D ROMS work for my ROM/Tune file.

After these changes, do I have to idle the car more at cold start? Do I have to do anything different from you normally do when starting and driving the car? I usually let the car idle for 2-3 minutes before driving but once a week it's 30 seconds and off I go because I'm in a rush.

Disable high Rev cold start

No need for that anyway. Just drive away easily right after starting. Drive like a limo driver for 3-5 mins and you're good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
