1st G-force test of my 2017 BRZ.

I drove out to the farther away beaches and lighthouse on this cold gray day with my girlfriend. As I was driving back, about to get onto the northern pointing parkways when I decided to test the grip and control of the car.

I took this turn at, when I looked down at the speedometer, 46 mph. Obviously stock with the performance package as well, for what it is worth here. I went around the needle on the inside circle.

I kept the rpm's quite low, at about 3400, only gasssing it to to 3900 out of the turn and then shifting to past 55 mph. It did this turn steady and smooth, minor amount of tire screech (just a tiny amount noticed). Traction control never came on, and when I turned right out of the turn quickly after a full 360, the car did not do what all other cars I have driven do, it did not snap back and forth. No motion, just redirected itself to where I went, no dramatics, no roll, no nothing.

this car is sick!

i wish the few roundabouts that large here in texas were so well painted and defined.

to contribute, this is (best picture I could find, google-fu is weak it is) intersection of us75 & sam rayburn tollway, cloverleaf with 4 different turns. two have about the same radius but differing yaw pitch (if that is right term). the NW corner the pavement slopes from hi to low inside to outside (off axis), and SE corner hi to low outside to inside (best grip)

Don't have anything quite like that near me but I'm really enjoying the much decreased body roll even with the addition of a bumpier ride.

I've been on some somewhat long circular on-ramps at 40-45mph according to the curve speed limit signs and they're so much more fun than when I used to drive my parents' Sienna minivan or Camry .

Jones Beach! Been there a few times. Most times we went a little farther out to Robert Moses as it was usually less crowded.

It is a big gift living next to them. I live in a town just before the bridge to get to the beaches. They are really awesome and huge.

imagine getting stickier summer tires and a spot-on alignment (if you haven't already). you'll probably love it even more.

That thing is gigantic! Try this one out. This is the exit from where my trailer/cottage is located. It is also the first place that many people get to have a ride in my car.
The screams of terror as we leave the park are entertaining.

That looks nice. They are good when the salt is away and the sand and rubble is cleared clean from the winter.

I think this is the Meadowbrook one in photo. The Wantagh one i zip around might be smaller grounds. I think it is by a lot. It was a lot of force on the seat, lots.

Edit:Nope that's the one. Looks smaller up close. Hm. Odd. It is a lot of fun.
