The new model has different textured panels..... it is well documented. It matches the cars it originally comes in perfectly.

I bought the one-piece dash for my 2017 BRZ. It matches the stock leather half-dash piece perfectly.

It doesnt match the leather in the older frs but neither did that fake carbon panel. The stitching matches and it looks much nicer

Hi Guru,

Do you have any more close up pictures of your head unit with the metra dash kit? How do you like the fitment and design? Does it scream aftermarket? I've heard conflicting reports of how it looks with the one piece dash kit.

Idk if they're different material in the 2017+ or not. Whatever mismatch is there seems to not bother most people.
