2) As you're re-installing bumper, make sure to also give it a push directly under the headlights - there are clips there too and the bumper gap will disappear only when those clip in. |

Just ordered this. Did you have to take off the entire bumper to install these? If not, is there instructions on how to do it without taking it all off?
Thanks! |

The bottom has just two 10mm bolts and push pins that take no time to get out. I tried to save time by just undoing the top but then: 1) it's much harder to attach the new part correctly (the small bolt is barely as long as the bumper is thick) 2) if you drop the tiny nut (like I did) you'll end up taking the bumper anyway to find it |

I ended up taking the entire cover off.
You can see how much of the clip portion on the bumper was gone. Once I got the new clips bonded, and screwed in place, I built up some glue to replace the missing section. Unfortunately, that side still won't clip. LH side snaps in nice and solid now, and I doubt I'll ever have an issue over there. I suspect the bracket the RH snaps into has some issue as well, and that is why I can't get it to snap in place All that aside, it seems like a valid fix, provided you're not trying to bridge a canyon. |

Move over racing quick release absolutely fixed my bumper gap. Unfortunately like an ass I did not take before picks. Still a very slight imperfection on the driver's side but 98 percent fixed. Satisfied I guess. Still have slight headlight gap which is driving me nuts. Any fixes for that? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk |

Has anyone ever considered making these little plates instead of having to buy from Japan and wait for them to arrive? They don't look to hard to make!
