Also, tires are 245/35/18 not 245/40/18 (unless you want to offset your speedo and "lift" your car because the diameter is to big)

So my original plan of have 18x7.5 38 offset at the front,tire being 225/40r18 is ok or should that be 35 as well

and when im searching for tires, they dont have much options for combos with the rear being 245/35r18 but lots of options for 245/40r18
- you mentioned that it will lift my car, by how much? and if i do go with 245/40 will it be a problem?

Wheelsize and lowering a car has almost nothing to do with each other. (the ride gets a bit stiffer, but thats the idea behind lowering a car) And also if springs or coilovers depends on what you want to do with the car.
So for a start, 18" wheels and lowering the car work perfectly fine. Now if you go for springs or coils is up to you. As a daily driver to get a more sporty look, springs are more than sufficent. Coilovers are only needed if you want to setup your car for a track, or if you want to drive a very very agressiv wheel setup.


Now that said, may I ask you why you want to go for a staggered setup with 7.5" front and 8.75" in the rear? why not a square setup?

For example, on stock suspension, a 8.5x18 square looks perfectly good if you take an offset of +44 -> http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15883

I'm looking at the xxr 530 and they come in weird sizes
I was only able to get 8.75 or 7.5 for 18 inch wheels

and i was told that with the front being 18x8.75, it would have clearance issues or rubbing issues.
i wanted to go with a square set up.

So would be it ok if I got a 18x8.75 33 offset all around?

Without rubbing or clearance issues" -> Yes, this works without any issues, no rubbing, and it works either on stock or lowered on springs (and also on coilovers of course)

As you already mentioned, it will stick out a bit on stock suspension, but it will not rub on the inner struit, nor outside on the fender.

And yes, its more or less the same setup I had on wingo at the start (mine is +35 offset, so your +33 will "stick out" 2mm more)

18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear

Bolt patterns available from ft86motorsports are 5x100, x112 and x114. Which one do I need for which end? Is there anything else I would need? Thank you!

You will need 5x100.

What offset do the wheels have? This is rather important aswell

It looks like they don't have a 18x9.5 in a 5x100 listed on ft86mototsports but varrstoen do make it. I'll ask if they can get it.

8.5 + 35 front and 9.5 +35 rear works, however you will need to lower the car/get some camber otherwise it will poke about 5mm in the front (also depending a bit on the tires you're going for)

I'm keeping the stock suspension though. I don't think it's adjustable camber wise, is it? And actually FT86motorsports people convinced me to go square set up. So now I'm gonna go 8.5 all around. Does this mean I'll need spacers in the back?

You can adjust camber in the front with camber bolts. If you're stock suspension, 8.5 in the rear will be fine without spacers.
