Work has kept me from getting back to the dyno. The closest one I've been to is over 2 hours away. Going by the MAF flow numbers this thing pushes a lot more air in 90 degree weather than the t518z did in 40 degree weather. I will have numbers soon. I haven't even had much time to be active on the forum as of late. I'm running an updated version of my flash and go tune with some more tweaks. The turbo is flowing more air and my iat temps are very stable and low due to the new intake and larger bar and plate IC. Nothing needs changed in the tune. It's still running perfect. It just has a lot more power and this turbo just keeps pulling up top.

I believe the GT3076 is really the goldy locks turbo for our cars especially if you don't have e85. It's a good balance of performance and especially price. Sure it's fun to bar stool brag about billet wheels, they are the rage right now. But if you don't operate in the pressure ratios they preform best then you are literally just paying for the name.

My thoughts exactly! This turbo performs VERY well with e85 and spools up just as fast as the t518z and keeps pulling up top. I have no complaints so far.

Any dyno charts or information on this yet? Can you take pics of your water lines? I still haven't found that intercooler, and I doubt I'd want to pay to have some end tanks welded up. Also, why did you increase your intake to 4" which is larger than the inlet? I'm genuinely curious because it is difficult to find actual data for this specific car and turbo with these small differences. I'm too type A to just go with a decision without knowing definitively which one is better.
I'm going to park my car for winter and would love to be able to pull it out of storage with this turbo. Also, do you still have a transmission? Lol
I see that you said you started with the intercooler, but was curious what kind of power you can make without the intercooler upgrade, because unless I can get a deal on one a welded up core would run me into flex fuel territory pricing.
Care to let us in on a boost pressure x rpm graph?
With that larger compressor housing do you feel that the area under the curve as a net loss is made up by better traction with so much power a tad later in the RPM range or do you think that a boost by gear and smaller housing would've been a more viable option?

I apologize for necroposting but I'm upgrading to a T620z soon and wanted better cooling. I thought I'd share my findings. This is the intercooler OP had installed. Found a better image on another post of his and it's definitely not a TRE intercooler.

Good choice on the turbo. On e85 its a beast. I was forced to add 93 in my car last weekend and boy was i upset, it felt like the cars balls fell off.

Keep the updates coming!

I'm currently running the t620z turbo kit that I bought back in 2014 on a built motor. Craving for more power right now, glad to see that there are choices for us to switch to.
