This will fit fine, unless you're lowering the car 5858444949" or something ;-) Quote:
The issue is less about rubbing inside here, than about the wheel poking out of the Fender with this Setup 17x9 +40 will work, but if on stock hight and no camber it will poke quiet alot in the front, and aswell in the rear. Here is a shot of 18x8.75 +35 on stock Suspension, with 245 tires http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=75 a 17x9 +40 will look about the same (well, another 2mm more inside, but thats hardly noticable)

a 8" -12 Wheel will poke out about 2-3cm in the rear. The math is as follows: A 9.5" +35 is about flush lowered on the twin (it depends a bit on camber, but for the sake of simplicity, lets go for the "norm"). So 1.5" wheel difference, 50% of it, gives about 20mm. So an 8" +15 (which is +35 from the 9.5" - the 20mm we loose being a 8" wheel) will be about flush. Now you want to make this a -12, so its 15+12 ) 27mm -> This results in the wheel sitting outside your fender 2.7cm (or about a good inch) Hope this helps Cheers

ST Coils as in coilovers? If so, this should work. You'll probably need a good amount of camber to keep the tires inside the fenders in the front, but if you have coilovers at least you dont have to mind the stock inner struits

Will this fit
Hi guys,
I just wanted to get some opinions before I do so. For a stock fsr Front rim 18x7.5 +38 offset Tire 225/40r18 Rear rim 18x8.75 + 33 offset Tire 245/40r18 Would those tire options fit on stock? Not lowered and stock springs |

Sorry 18x9" +40 will fit. I wouldn't go any less in terms of width. I regret not going +37/36 on my 18x9.5+38, although I did go 37 in back with LCAs

While you can fit that wide wheels/tires, it will poke when you're on stock suspension. if you're not planning on lowering your car, I would not go for a 8.75 +33 in the front. I'll link you some pictures of a 18x8.75 +35 Setup with 245 tires so you can see what I mean. Your setup, being a +33, will stick out 2mm more than this http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=75 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=98 EDIT: Also, tires are 245/35/18 not 245/40/18 (unless you want to offset your speedo and "lift" your car because the diameter is to big)
