as much as I like to use those marketing materials, I prefer to see the actual part in front of me.

They give the dimensions in that picture.
I couldn't imagine they would pull those out of their ass.

I don't think you get what I'm saying.

If a company makes a product in another country, one can only verify fitment into a US application after test fitment (or verifying identical OE part numbers that it is replacing).

To simply just take some published internal marketing material and say "oh it must be different" is to go about doing business in all the wrong ways possible. I have yet to see a person post two stock filters (2017 MT vs all other models) side by side.

only with the 8NR-FTS engine.
The C-HR with 2ZR-FXE engine uses a different filter element.

Correct, according to Subaru the new filter element and air box increases flow ~30% while increasing the filtration area from .193 to .77 m^2
