Is this system gravity fed? Just wondering as if it's mounted too low it might cause flow issues?

https://www.yourmechanic.com/article...rger-belt-last The Rotrex manual states to change the supercharger oil every 50k miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. Rotrex oil is $100/ litre. What I will most likely do is replace the belt, filter, and oil every 50k miles or 2 years. It'll be a couple hundred dollars, but that's cheap insurance to ensure many happy miles from the kit. |

For both people who posted videos, does the abnormal noise speed up with the revs? If they do then you most likely have a bad bearing in one of the pulleys.

Honestly its somewhat difficult to hear while im driving. But from what I can hear yes it speeds up with revs. I know it only really happens once the car warms up. We had tightened the belt at one point and it definitely got louder. Once we loosened the belt up it went away for a bit and is now back but not as loud. I also sprayed a little belt spray on the cogged supercharger belt and the noise got quite a bit louder. At this point im hoping that means its not the blower its self and rather a bearing. |
