That's what you get out of multiple runner lengths... 5 here and 5 there. And it may still be more than 5.

It wouldn't be cost effective. A variable length manifold wont be cheap.

NA tuning in general is of very bad gains/costs ratio. For some high costs of such manifold won't put them off getting it, if it will allow to push a little further.

That makes sense, however as weve seen, small gains dont seem to stack up with any repeatability.

Look up having a turbulent boundary layer.

Think golf ball.

If there were any substantial gains to be had from an aftermarket intake there would be 20 of them on the market. Maybe with different cams and a higher torque peak but not as she sits.

Velox tried something that didn't quite work out. They put a lot of time and money into it. I give them credit but it appears that there aren't too many improvements to be made on the top side of the fa20.

With the utmost respect to Velox and FT86SF we don't want to hijack this thread.

We're crossing the Pacific in a few weeks to make sure we actually have something. Prototypes have been in development for a few months now with an unnamed tuning shop

Please don't clutter this thread, we'll create one if/when we feel we have something worth talking about

Like everything else from ACE, it'll probably take longer then we expect...

Like everything else from ACE, I'll be on the waitlist. Velox/ft86sf will get my business for aero.
