Please can someone running these post an audio of 6th gear at about 70 mph? Maybe talk in a normal conversation tone and volume in the recording so I can determine if the volume will be awful!? Please! I am very interested as I am embarking on a built engine soon, and want to make my car tough now so I don't have to do this later after destroying my transmission.(like I did my engine) Thanks in advance!

I just emailed Heysam at PAR. He said they are out of stock and it would be a month (read two months) lead time to get a set. Just a heads up.

interesting video, thx.
After replacing all my mounts and bushings with stiffer version I instantly noticed gear wine with the factory gear box. Are you running factory mounts or is that noise with the aftermarket mounts and bushing by chance?

Hi All, For those concerned about the noise.
Keep in mind 6th can remain OEM standard and it will be quiet as per factory. For those who still would like to install an uprated 6th we can manufacture a helical gear which will also be quiet. I hope this helps to clarify. |

Well @PAR Engineering, I'm glad to hear that. I wonder if you could PM me a price for such a set? I will be pulling my blown engine probably in February, and I want to have a transmission ready to go back in with it. The engine is boosted, but will also be a high RPM engine. If I can afford it at the same time, the gear set would make a nice addition!

Does anyone know where I can get a ring(synchro) and bearing kit for our manual transmission? Is stock the only option?
