Yeah, literally the only thing that sucks is that its not manual.
But hey, it has "gearshift paddles, calibrated to Polestar specifications." whatever that means. Quote:

I will say I still regret getting rid of my Prodrive intake and LHD floormats now that I'm thinking about getting another GD chassis (and I mean in like 5 years lol) CTS-V wagon. Wagon all the things! |

Yeah, I doubt there will be many new V8 wagons made in the future. Those times have come and gone.

So we finally got another manual 86 in (that isn't pre-sold). Drove it to my dealership from our storage lot (about a mile). I didn't smash on it (it's a new car, it's not my car, and the engine wasn't to operating temp). However, I didn't feel the torque dip as much as my car (which has the OTS stage 1 91 tune). Basing this at 1/3rd throttle up to 4k rpm in second gear. Not sure how it'd feel WOT though.

If I wanted a gas-engined, useful car with fun dynamics, I'd get a GTI. If I wanted it for the long term and was willing to deal with cheapness, I'd get a Mazda3 hatch with the bigger engine.

CTS-V wagon test drive today was good, way more power than I'm used to. Not crazy about the leather, specially since its light/gray, but at least it will clean easily. The seller would not come down of price and told me he'd get back to me if nothing pans out for him. Gonna be taking a look at an S6 wagon tmrw. American or German V8, hmmm... |

Some asshole passed me and threw a penny out the passenger window at me on the 580 this evening, chipped the very top of my windshield and the paint on the lip of the roof
gotta love the bay sometimes. Scared my GF since it came at her side of the windshield.
