Check Newegg and tiger direct before black Friday is over. Always cyber Monday too. There is probably a kit available with Mobo, processor, etc. Add the extras

Maybe he's good at dancing with wolves but he sure doesn't know how to use a mouse.

I shouldn't joke really since I am pretty sure this is the exact same one I learned "computer science" (aka How to punch a card) on in high school.

Nope I've gained 5 pounds since then but you're right. I need to drop a couple toddlers worth.

I'll work on it.

My old machine is an i3 2100. It has an SSD in a PCI-E slot, but it's an old one so it's SATA based in RAID - 180GB. 1TB or 2TB additional drive is includable. Want two 1.5TB drives in RAID? I have plenty of drives sitting around, seeing as I just bought 21TB of Toshibas. The Antec case can take four drives in their nice little caddies, and there's another 3 5 1/4" bays. 12GB RAM. MSI GeForce 460GTX. I have a USB 3 PCI card, a wifi USB dongle, and a SATA card to boot. I believe an Antec Bronze power supply in the 500+ watt range. Windows 7 x64, probably Pro. All of this for a hell of a lot less than $700 shipped. You can always buy and install a faster processor. They're reasonably priced on ebay. I was using it as a server, but I've since migrated to my Supermicro chassis with some serious hardware.

I also have a q9550 mobo and processor, which is faster multi-threaded because of four cores and a 12MB cache. At least one of the mobo SATA ports is munged up, though.

Chipotle isn't that bad for "mexican inspired" food. Taco bell on the other hand... RIP toilet. Actually, rip bathroom for 2 hours.
