DashMaker - Post your setup here!

So I guess lots of owners here have OBDII live data scanners...and the DashMaker app running on an Android device - I am guessing so as its the top-selling Auto app on Google Play that I can see.

So I wanted to run the most awesome OBD App ever (DashMaker) - luckily I have a car-mounted Nexus 5X so should be easy to set up right.

I got my Bluetooth OBD scanner for all of £8.99 from Amazon
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also got a pretty sturdy mount from Amazon - again very cheap at £7.99 + postage...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-M...ndshield+mount

With DashMaker (£0.79) you can pull OBD data from all sensors and download or customize 100s of dashboards.

Here's my 3 favourite dashboards right now - although I have customized versions on my phone if anyone wants to see :
http://www.dashmaker.io/dashboard/SJjof6hWg
http://www.dashmaker.io/dashboard/B1zDQwoZe
http://www.dashmaker.io/dashboard/B1TfT(fGe

Would be great to see what you guys use.

I may have misinterpreted your post but I had trouble finding DashMaker and the page said it had only 100 downloads unlike Torque which had 6 million downloads (free and paid combined). I am not suggesting they are quite the same thing but Torque is an OBD scanner and auto related.
*shrug*

That is because they are about the same as apples and waterbuffalo from what I can tell.

I have never heard of dash maker and I couldn't even find it in the app store. I guess it might have been one of those "featured" apps that buy spots on the top of the list. Either that or OP is paid to advertise it. The pictures also look very cheesy lol. Torque does it better imo.

Ecutek Bluetooth Module, 299$ Does anything the competition does along with abilities to change things on the fly in your tune, definitely going to be a big deal for guys that track with ecutek and use custom traction control.

can you also flash tunes with that or does it require an ecutek tune pre-loaded for it to work?

Ecutek sounds great - I will watch out for this.

DashMaker is the top-selling auto app on Google Play - I found it easily using this link or just go the Auto category :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/c..._paid?hl=en_GB

It works similarly to the Torque app mentioned above - it can set custom PIDs and log your car diagnostics as you drive.

If anyone has used the Tasker app for Android, you will see that DashMaker can run Tasker apps or receive Tasker data, so with the right plugins, this could be a pretty powerful combination.

If you dont like the dashboards I listed, you can make your own using the gauges provided and set to whatever metrics you like.

Is this your app?
Because according to links to other apps from the page you gave the sales for this app is NOT "the top-selling auto app".
Dashmaker Installs 100 - 500
Ulysse Speedometer Pro Installs 50,000 - 100,000
