It will be pretty hard to get an answer. JRZ support and knowledge of the 86 platform is very good.

That's basically it.

Both companies have great support stateside, but there are a good amount of 86 drivers running JRZ and a couple shops with JRZ experience on this platform in the USA. I can pick up the phone and call Bryan at JRZ to talk tuning and get his input on whatever. We can help you set up the car (and so can a few other shops)...all the homework has been done.

As far as I know, there aren't any shops with first hand experience with the Bilstein MDS in the USA. Bilstein always provides good support, but it likely won't be specific to the 86 platform. You'll still have a lot of rebuild/revalve options but these are motorsports shocks that are basically intended to be used by a race team with a suspension engineer who might even be revalving them himself.

You can't go wrong with either, but you have a little more work to do with the Bilsteins.

I was as going to say, the mostly likely reason these have been released if the fact that they were developed with TMG for the CS-V3 Cup cars in Germany. So they have had some R&D.

You won't truly appreciate local support until you need it.

I use 10/12 with JRZ 12-32 and 245 40 17 AD08R.
It's very good.
I'll soon switch to 230 610 17 A005 slicks. I have the feeling I will need more sway bar.
