Been looking at pulley systems and it looks like most of the companies have customizable kits that come with waterpump, alternator and a/c compressor...most are between 2-3k.
Here's one. http://www.eddiemotorsports.com/prod...chevy-less-ps/ Also thinking about supercharging...would probably require a different set up altogether Hopefully Vorshlag offers up something a bit less costly. |

I believe this dirty dingo set-up will work. Most likely requiring the wiring harness to be modified though.

Looks like that would be a two belt set up...kind of like the gen III truck style.

I was told 2 weeks on the transmission, but seems as though those that have ordered have waited around 2 months to finally receive it. Hoping that was just an early ordering ordeal. It is still a special order item at this point though. I can't order Crank/waterpump until I know what accessories/accessory mounts I can/need to run. Which is all waiting on Vorshlag (along with clutch master cylinder, engine/trans mounts, headers, driveshaft). I have a feeling the LS3 stuff I had chosen will work, but the 2010-2015 Camaro it is based on uses the truck spacing and sticks quite far out from the block (from what I can find). Which makes custom brackets a must at least for the low mount alternator to keep things as close as possible using corvette parts. I am also waiting on MRS to feel comfortable selling the final-ish revision of their CAN translator. Edit: I sent an email to Dirty Dingo asking about the Low mount mini a/c / alternator mounts. Making sure they fit the 2010-2015 Camaro Crank Pulley.

After staring at the Vorshlag Posts and doing some searching. I do believe they are using CTS-V accessories with the LS3 Water Pump. Running a pulley on the lower CTS-V Alternator bracket using some washers/custom spacer and a custom bolt.
CTS-V Accessories from an LS Swap Miata: ![]() (Not LS3 Water Pump, but note how the belt sits at the very back of the pulley) ![]() Vorshlag: ![]() ![]() Custom Spacer: ![]() The Crank Pulley is a Cadillac Crank Pulley and the water pump is a LS3 pump.

Also got some more scan tool stuff working today so I should be able to finalize the rest of the code before long.

The C7 corvette accessory drive is simpler, easier, and works much better than anything else.
The C7 LT1 water pump fits the LS blocks, and puts the water necks in a better place for the FRS. Shown here. Only concern is alternator height, and whether it fouls with the fuse box on the side...

Good info I was wondering about a LT water pump on a ls. I was thinking that pump, and custom low mount compressor and alternator bracket. Or a LT motor instead of a LS. Haven't ordered a engine yet so I may look it to the LT if it will mount to my transmission.

Your correct but if you ran a LT water pump it gives you more room on the front of the engine if you could find a single belt crank pulley that matches the spacing of the LT pump you would gain even more room.
