For me I just let the car idle. I think it was when the car was hot it was more prevalent, not when the car was cold.

Im putting a video up of it and the only way to get it to knock is letting it drop almost below 500rpms and tapping the pedal.

It sounds like an FRS/BRZ to me. Mine rattles, clanks, shakes, dips and chirps all the time. It's just how they are AFAIK.

Mine has been knocking for 3 years as well. I am running 10PSI of boost on it now too and so far nothing has broken at roughly 280-300WHP

So the solution to this problem seems to be to slap on a turbo, got it.

LOL We all know you have a turbo now. Very creative way to shoehorn it into the thread though.

Humor me. Take another clip doing exactly the same thing except this time, keep the clutch pedal mashed to the floor.

Also, while it's idling, release the clutch pedal and press it a couple times. I predict all will come clear and you will be relieved.

What we all hear are the disengaged gears being knocked around with each firing pulse of the engine. Given the high compression ratio, the flywheel is already about as light as reasonable for a street vehicle.

Take note, people. That is how you actually help alleviate OP's concern; by explaining it. *leans back in chair smugly*
