I love the look of the Harrop kit and the fact that it sits so low. IMO, it looks way better than the Edelbrock kit and sits lower as well. only thing that really doesn't "fit" into the look are the water lines, but that is a small problem. once they get CARB-approved then it will be a real contender for us that live in "Kalifornia"

Forged internals are certainly a later project for me once the car is paid off. It would be a great way to update a higher milage engine and put some life back into it. You still thinking about switching over to a 17 Series.Yellow?

Couldn't you just transfer over some of your parts and go back to stock for a trade in?

I thought about it. Though recently I pondered trading in for a WRX and they only offered 12k for my car. So it made me want to hold on to what I had.

How's the Harrop treating you a couple months in? I put in an order for one for my '17 a week ago. Just waiting on shipping from Australia direct.

This kit has been awesome. Things were a little bumpy while I was working with Delicious for tuning, but since then the car has felt great. I'm only using the stock pulley on 91 octane and the car idles and revs so much smoother with the optimized tune. No complaints at all, except for maybe gas milage, but that is negligible given the circumstances. Guarantee you'll enjoy this kit. It is slick stuff. Also, I saw in the Harrop owners thread that you were worried about running for 2 hours on the freeway after install. I ran the bone stock edelbrock tune from Neal's over the pass back to Reno with little trouble. It was by no means smooth, but I never went into limp mode and I didn't have problems. -Kyle

Got some new stuff!
-STi Short Shifter -STI Oil Filter -Subaru JDM Side Markers -STi Steering Rack Bolts, Nuts Etc. Nothing too crazy, but still worth an update. Install/review soonish.

Me too. 4mm seems negligible, but we will see. I'll report back.

Do you think this shifter would work with the Perrin shifter bushing? I'm tempted to spend money and buy one haha

Yeah I don't see why not? While doing the install there is no need to replace or touch the bushing, so it you wanted to replace it I think it would work. No different than the Kartboy kit really?
