Front Lower Air Dam Removal?
Hey everyone. I want to install some things in the space between the bumper and the radiator, but I don't want to take the front bumper off for several reasons.
I haven't had a good chance to look at the car yet, but I'm curious if anyone knows offhand if it's possible to remove the lower air dam, which would allow me to reach up from underneath and work on stuff in that space? It seems like it's at least a lower and an upper piece, so maybe it isn't that simple. |

Im intending on installing some horns too... they're just a bit bigger than Hellas, lol. Good to know that's a way to get in there. Thanks! Anything I should know, or is it pretty easy to figure out once you get under there?

it's pretty easy getting the bumper off once you've done it once. don't have you worry about getting your arm all scratched up and uncomfortable on the ground

- This will be a long-term project and I don't want to keep taking the bumper off and on endlessly, since I'm not driving around without it. - I don't want to unnecessarily risk "bumper sag" if I can avoid it. - I need the bumper in place to determine how much room I have. |

Same here.
It's super easy. It's just plastic rivets and few bolts. It's one of those things where after you're done you feel stupid for overthinking it and tell yourself "There was absolutely nothing to worry about with this" |

@Stang70Fastback here's some pictures to help you out.
Notes: See those 5 holes in the false floor piece? That's the openings for the pressure clips. I actually tape OVER them to stop debris from going in there and making the clips harder to remove in case I ever needed to take this off again. There are 2 pressure clips that install onto the false floor piece from the TOP going DOWN. They're at the sides and they hold vertical walls near the left and right of the opening. |
