Thats disappointing although completely understandable.

The description for the rims also is the description for the WRX. Doesn't look like there was too much QA/QC before they made the site live.

Unfortunately i cannot copy/paste the description over.

That sounds like a fair trade to me since the automatic doesn't get the extra horsepower.

To me it seems that Subaru doesn't really care for the automatic. And because I'm manual-biased i can't say I blame them. This car is all about control and your connection to the road and an automatic takes away from that. Plus it'll add a lot of weight messing with the balance.

When slowing down (without throttle or brakes, but just in gear) the car will chug back and forth anywhere under ~13-14mph in 2nd gear. I thought 2nd gear should be able to tolerate that well since everyone says they don't go into 1st until they get under 5mph. Or am I wrong? And it seems like anywhere under 20mph is just too slow to go into 3rd gear. How do you guys do it? This is based on a 2017 brz btw.
Keep it in gear if traffic is moving along, but keep it in the right gear. Get used to matching the traffic speed, gear, and appropriate RPMs (ideally between 2-3K RPM). Once you do, the car won't chug if you're on and off the throttle.

If traffic slows down, just pop it into neutral and coast. If you need to speed up, engage it 2nd gear, never 1st gear, and feather the clutch to get some momentum, then pop it back into neutral and coast. If you don't want to keep going in and out of neutral, just find the right gear like I said earlier and learn how to feather the throttle.

I'm at about 200-250 miles on mine right now; I haven't redlined it, but I've definitely gone up to 5k-6k on occasion when overtaking on the highway, etc., and over 4k maybe a couple times a day so far. Never for extended periods, mind.

I seem to read conflicting reports on it. I'm essentially just driving it as I would after the break-in. (I guess I'm going a little easier on it than I would, especially since I'm still getting used to driving stick.)

No issue if it is occasional. Most important is to drive it with different rpms. Some drive constantly in 2k rpm or 2.5k rpm which is not good. You need to drive in all the rpm ranges during the break in period (2k - 4k).

Ok, good.
I've probably revved it a little high a little more often than I should, bust most of my driving is spent between 2k-4k

I get to spend the weekends in the upper half of the RPMs, and the weekdays in the lower half due to being in traffic most of the time. It feels pretty balanced.

I would try and keep it under as much as possible. I'm at ~700 miles and I've only went over 4k like twice or three times.

The feeling of getting gas for your new car! If anyone is interested in how the 2017 car is doing on gas.. I'm pretty happy with how far the tank takes me so far, 354 miles on one tank. Although that is like 75-80% highway. I got nearly the same with my previous car which had a 17.1 gallon tank.

Does anyone know if the headlights and the front bumper will fit on 13-16s models? What if some of us want the new models but don't wanna buy it lol.

I'm sure it most likely would as the car basically looks the same all around, but I'm just curious as to how easy would it fit.

It really looks very nice in person. The premium cluster seems kind of cheesy in comparison. The nicer gauges and info display are one of the main reasons I opted for a limited.

Does that digital portion still show coolant or anything?

The digital portion doesn't look as good as I imagined, but I'm sure it looks better than the base level trim.
