I'm glad your asking question, but try looking around a bit to. RCE has suspension parts on pre order now that would probably be exactly what your looking to do and will work well with the stock dampers. Take a look at their site, the site itself isn't the greastest but their products are well made.

Also be very careful with the spring rates. RCE's and the stockers are even front to rear, 250 lb/in vs 185 lb/in respectively. The motion ratio of the rear vs the front means that you'll need slightly more spring rate in the rear to accomplish the same effect, but the rear is slightly lighter so even spring rates work well. This is very different then most cars that are very nose heavy. We've already seen springs realized that are vastly stiffer in the front, as if they were for different car....
