I didn't read the whole thread but: you'll tune for FI, if you supercharge you'll want headers or you can sell them if turbo, you'll want e85 FI. So you might as well just do all that stuff now then save for FI

I don't regret running E85/Header for the time that I did before going FI, but if I could offer any advice I would have to admit that I kicked myself for not using Ecuteck from the get go.

The question I would ask myself is, how long is it going to take to save enough to go FI properly.
Then its all about how long you think you can hold out. If the difference is less than a year or two I'd wait. If it's going to take 2-4 or longer, go E85 header for now. |

For me personally I could not stand the torque dip. Every shift I was reminded of it and dissatisfied with the car.
I did OFT+OFH and it made the car much, much, much more enjoyable. However I still had the power bug. I still also have the suspension and brakes bug now too. So the answer is yes you'll be very happy, just a matter of tolerance level til you get fed up and want more. Based on your comments so far, it seems like you'd be happier saving up and going for FI in the long run. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk |

Although my next mod is tailights. I also asked myself this question.
I think it's better to get header + tune to enjoy the car more REGARDLESS of going FI or not. If you're waiting 5 years to go FI, do you really want those 5 years with that annoying torque dip? Get the header + tune and enjoy those 5 years. Besides you could always sell your header and OFT/Ecutek If you're not going FI, abviously header + tune

If you're going to track it, header and tune, or just tune. Then get an oil cooler. If you're not going to track it, go for FI. FI on the track is an expensive hole to throw money into.

UEL Header + OFT on the 93 octane tune was well worth it for me. It would be even better with e85. Totally worth it, in my opinion.
